Over 130 teams to compete at Army Games 2020
PANO – Over 130 teams will compete at the International Army Games 2020, announced Major General Alexander Peryazev, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Combat Training under the Russian Armed Forces, at a press conference in Moscow on the evening of August 20 (local time).
The event was attended by head delegates of over 30 countries and territories taking part in the Games. Major General Pham Van Thai, Deputy Head of the Department of Military Training under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and head of the Vietnamese military delegation, joined the press conference.
According to Major General Alexander Peryazev, the Army Games have become a regular event that annually draws the attention of the international community. He warmly welcomed all participating teams and wished them to compete hard during the competitions.
The most anticipated events of this year’s Army Games, lasting from August 23 to September 5 are the Tank Biathlon, Field Kitchen and “No-border friendship ”Cultural Festival.
