The proposal was made on September 27 at the reception given
at the hospital for a mission of the U.S. Department of State.
At this reception, the leaders of the hospital thanked
the U.S. for its assistance in training for members of the first Vietnamese
level-2 field hospital to be deployed to South Sudan. Accordingly, the U.S.
sent experts to help train these members to master the equipment sponsored by
the U.S.
The U.S. mission highly valued the efforts made by
Vietnam on participating in the UN peacekeeping missions. The mission
acknowledged the hospital leader’s proposal and pledged that they would request
to the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Government to include the proposal
in the future cooperation program.
