PANO - Lieutenant-General Pham Xuan Hung, Deputy Chief-of-the-General-Staff of Vietnam People’s Army, on June 8th, received experts from China’ Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs.

Addressing the ceremony, the General warmly welcomed Chinese specialists on a working visit in Vietnam and discussed an establishment of a hot line as agreed between the two nations’ Defence Ministries.

He also affirmed that over the past years, Vietnamese people and army always highly valued friendship with Chinese people and People's Liberation Army and the effective development of defence cooperation in many fields, making great contributions to strengthening the friendship between the two sides’ states and armies.

Chinese experts thanked General Hung for his warm reception and said that the visit to Vietnam is a good chance for them to share and exchange experiences with units of the Vietnam People’s Army.
