Indian defense attaché works with Signal Officer Candidate School
PANO - Colonel Varadan Kumar, Indian defense attaché to Vietnam, visited the Signal Officer Candidate School under the Signal Corps on March 18.
The visit was part of the activities to realize the Vietnam-India defense cooperation program.
Senior Colonel Duong Khanh Toan, Vice Rector of the school, and representatives of the school’s affiliated agencies received the Indian officer.
At the meeting, the Indian attaché and representatives of the school reviewed the outcomes of the signed defense cooperation program.
They have boosted military cooperation and pushed up the implementation of the project on building an information technology-foreign language center (military software park).

In addition, Indian experts have assisted the school in training and fostering instructors, and doing scientific research.
Also at the event, the two sides discussed issues of common concern.
At the end of the working session, the two sides agreed to promptly carry out signed program’s contents.
