Col. An noted that the military command has followed communications directives, working with central, local, and military region press agencies to disseminate information about the Party’s and State’s policies along with the missions of the military and the province’s armed forces. These efforts have inspired officers, soldiers, and citizens to contribute to building and safeguarding the Fatherland. Following the Military Region’s guidance, the provincial military command has also maintained a twinning partnership with the Phongsaly provincial Military Command of Laos, regularly exchanging information. Notably, since 2016, it has awarded 65 scholarships to Lao students at Tan Trao University, thereby further strengthening Vietnam – Laos solidarity.
For his part, the head of the Lao delegation, Lt. Col. Aphai Aphaiyavong, expressed his honor to visit and work with the Tuyen Quang provincial Military Command and briefly outlined the history, development, and organizational structure of the Lao People’s Army Newspaper.
