Indian cadets visit Vietnam
PANO – A delegation of the Indian College of Defense Management, led by Commodore Sunil Kumar, Head of the Faculty of Research and Consultancy under the college, visited the Vietnam National Defense Academy on February 23 as part of their Vietnam’s visit from February 20 to 24.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Dao Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the National Defense Academy, highlighted the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and India, and reviewed some key features of the defense cooperation between the two countries, while introducing the National Defense Academy and the achievements that the Vietnamese school has achieved over more than 45 years of construction and development.

Stressing that the Vietnam National Defense Academy and the Indian College of Defense Management share numerous similarities, Commodore Sunil Kumar proposed to further expand and strengthen the training cooperation relationship between the two academies, especially in the fields of defense, security, and human resource management.

The same day, the delegation of the Indian College of Defense Management visited President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and had a meeting with the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

During their stay in Vietnam, the Indian delegation paid a courtesy call on the leaders of Military Region 7, visited a number of cultural and historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi city and Quang Ninh province.
