Indian naval ships visit Ho Chi Minh City
PANO - Two ships of the Indian Navy, the multi-role stealth frigate INS Shivalik, captained by Captain Sauabh Thakur, and the INS Kamorta corvette, captained by Commander Modit Soni, together with 670 troops on board, on November 30 docked at Nha Rong port for a three-day friendly visit to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the framework of the visit, the Indian naval delegation will pay courtesy call on leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Military Region 7 Command, and Naval Region 2 Command; and offer flowers at the monument dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh.

They will also join a sports exchange and share information and experience with troops of Naval Region 2 and visit some historical relic sites in the city.
The visit contributes to strengthening cooperation between the two militaries and navies on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-India diplomatic ties (1972-2022).
