Major General Vu Trung Kien speaks at the event.

Major General Vu Trung Kien, Second-in-Command in Charge of Law of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, chaired the event.

During the event, the Military Broadcasting Center gave an overview of the gala night script.

Accordingly, the gala night, themed “Joining hands to protect marine environment,” will last nearly 100 minutes, featuring the competition between Vietnam and China’s young coast guard officers in two games called “Friendship” and “Cooperation.” The games offer participants a chance to show their understanding of the two countries’ culture, history, coast guard forces, seas and oceans, and the role of youths in marine environment protection, among others.

The highlight of the gala night will be outstanding artistic performances by artists from the Military Music Song and Dance Theater. The traditional folk songs at the event praise people, land, and culture of the two countries.

Concluding the event, Major General Vu Trung Kien acknowledged and hailed the great efforts of the director and production teams, as well as other units in building the thorough plan for the gala night.
