Vice Chairman of Son La provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association Le Hong Minh attended the event.
In the exchange, delegates reminisced about the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, Son La province and Northern Lao provinces.
With the motto "Helping friends is helping ourselves," over the years, the Son La provincial Military Command has pro-actively, comprehensively, and effectively carried out defense diplomacy affairs, contributing to tightening the close-knit relations between the two militaries and peoples and to building a borderline of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development.

In a friendly atmosphere, Lao cadets and the public art troupe of Son La city performed special performances in praise of the love for the Fatherland, the hometown, the solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam and Laos, the revolutionary and heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Lao People's Army, as well as the closeness, faithfulness, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The exchange helped boost the time-honored traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states in general and between Son La and Northern Lao provinces in particular, thus fostering the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
