Foreign military attachés visit Artillery Officer Training School
PANO - A delegation of foreign military attachés in Vietnam, led by Colonel Pranvir Singh Punia, Indian Defense Attaché to Vietnam, visited and attended a graduation ceremony at the Artillery Officer Training School on August 16.
The delegation was warmly and solemnly welcomed by the school’s commanders, officers and cadets.

At the reception, Major General Nguyen Du, the school’s commandant, introduced to the delegation the school’s history and development. He also recalled the fruitful relationship between Vietnam and the countries of the foreign military attachés, as well as the support of their’ governments and people for the Vietnamese Government and people during the war and in the present cause of national construction and protection.
Gen. Du hoped that the foreign military attachés would contribute to boosting their cooperation with Vietnamese military academies and schools.
On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Punia thanked the host for a warm reception and for creating favorable conditions for them to learn more about the school and share their experiences as well.
The Indian officer congratulated the new graduates of the school and believed that constant fact-finding trips to Vietnam’s military units and localities would help reinforce the mutual understanding and trust between the Vietnam People’s Army and their countries’ armed forces as well as their friendship and cooperation, contributing to the maintenance of peace and stability in the region and the world as a whole.
