Foreign defense attachés to Vietnam keen on learning about Vietnamese military

The foreign officers made that statement after their recent visits to Son La and Dien Bien provinces from October 30 to November 1.

During the visits, which were organized by the Department of Foreign Relations under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, foreign defense attachés to Vietnam exchanged experience with the Dien Bien provincial Border Guard Command in safeguarding security and order in border areas and immigration management amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

They also visited the Son La Prison Relic Site in Son La province, Muong Phang Relic Site in Dien Bien province, and toured other cultural and historical relic sites in Dien Bien Phu city.

The visits, concluding successfully with absolute security and safety for all participants, contributed to enhancing the relations, trust, and understanding between/among participating foreign defense attachés and their hosts.
