During the conference, both sides stressed the cooperation between the two units, highlighting their commitment to the foreign policy direction set by the two parties, states, and defense ministries.

Over the past time, various agencies and units of Laos’ Division 5 have actively partnered with their counterparts in Khanh Hoa province, collaborating in information sharing, security coordination, and maintaining stability in border and domestic affairs.

After reaching consensus on the cooperation program, Senior Colonel Nguyen Tan Y and Major General Thoongsa Maysucpasot signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), marking an important milestone in their cooperative relationship.

Accordingly, the bilateral partnership aims to enhance awareness and sense of responsibility among their officers and soldiers, strengthen coordination in task implementation, and deepen cooperation in national defense and development efforts.
