Major General Vo Van Chot, head of Nghe An province’s liaison board for former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military advisors, presents a gift to a patient at Military Central Hospital 103 of Laos.

The beneficiaries are receiving treatment at Military Central Hospital 103 of Laos.

The activity aimed to give encouragement to the wounded and sick Lao military personnel and veterans so that they can soon recover to continue contributing to their units as well as Laos’ development, said Major General Vo Van Chot, head of Nghe An province’s liaison board for former Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and military advisors in Laos, former Commanding Officer of Division 324, and former Second-in-Command of Military Region 4.

The gifts demonstrate the spiritual support from former volunteer soldiers and military advisors of Vietnam, as well as the comradeship and fraternity between the two sides, who have stood shoulder to shoulder throughout history, he noted.

Major General, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Savengxay Dalasath, Director of Military Central Hospital 103 of Laos, expressed gratitude for the heartfelt support from the Vietnamese side, saying that over its 49-year development, the hospital has received great assistance from the Party, State, military, and advisors of Vietnam.

He showed the hope to continue receiving support from individuals and organizations for charitable activities at the hospital.
