The eighth edition of the exchange, taking place on April 11 and 12, is co-chaired by Vietnamese Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang and his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun.

Saying goodbye to the Chinese delegation

Before the farewell ceremony, Minister Phan Van Giang chaired a banquet for Minister Dong Jun and the Chinese delegation.

Earlier, both ministers attended the talks between the high-ranking delegations of the Vietnamese and Chinese defense ministries, during which the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on setting up a hotline between the Vietnamese ministry’s Naval Service and the Southern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation of China.
