They were also encouraged to promote good images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers to international friends.
Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan expressed his confidence that following the successful results of the Engineering Company Rotation 1, the Engineering Company Rotation 2 would continue to build a positive image of the Vietnam People's Army among international friends and the local people. They would be worthy of the golden embroidered flag with the words "Paving the Way to Victory" that President Ho Chi Minh bestowed upon the heroic Vietnamese engineering troops. This would also contribute to the implementation of the Party's foreign policy, promote Vietnam's position in the international arena, enhance the prestige of the Vietnam People's Army, and create a favorable environment for the national construction and defense cause in the current context.
