During the conference, both sides agreed to boost coordination following the agreement between the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the National Police of the Cambodian Ministry of Interior's General Department of Immigration while directing the Vietnamese border posts and Cambodian border protection police stations to maintain bilateral patrols and regular meetings, as well as enhance coordination in border and border gate protection and management and exit and entry prevention and control.

Moreover, both sides should exchange information to closely follow situational developments, as well as enhance collaboration to remotely prevent activities of bad organizations and elements, among others.

In 2023, the two sides strictly implemented agreements and planning treaties while strengthening trust and mutual understanding and respect for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In addition, the units created favorable conditions for cooperative activities of agencies, organizations and enterprises; and business and trading activities as well as medical examination and treatment for people in the two countries, thereby tightening the solidarity and strengthening exchange between the two forces and the Vietnamese and Cambodian people.

Concluding the event, the An Giang provincial Border Guard Command and Takeo provincial Police Department signed the minutes of the talk.
