Cambodian and Vietnamese young military leaders visit Division 5
PANO - On October 30, a delegation of young leaders from the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) visited and exchanged experience with Division 5 of Military Region 7.
The delegation was joined by Major General Nguyen Van Hoang, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7, and Major General Ngethsovann Arundeth, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam, Commanding Officer of Division 5, expressed his delight at welcoming the young military leaders from both countries, hoping that the visit would strengthen the friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two nations and their armed forces.

During the visit, Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam briefed the delegation on the division’s history, its outstanding achievements, and its ongoing efforts to enhance training quality and combat readiness. The unit has continuously fostered self-reliance, utilized all resources, and ensured logistics and technical services for both regular and special missions. The division’s officers and soldiers are united and determined, working hard to build a division that can effectively respond to various situations.

During the visit, the VPA and RCAF young leaders exchanged expertise in areas such as training, logistics supply and technical support. They also toured the division’s production areas and living quarters.
