At the booth of MB Laos, a branch of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank in Laos, visitors experienced safe, convenient, and modern digital banking services. MB Laos is currently the only bank licensed by the Bank of the Lao PDR to offer online payment account registration via eKYC technology, marking the first time such services have been introduced in the Lao financial-banking sector. This gives MB a major advantage in rolling out its digital banking strategy in Laos, providing customers with secure and seamless experiences.

Meanwhile, the booth of Corps 20 (Saigon Newport Corporation) showcased remarkable achievements in production, business, and digital transformation. Visitors could explore Tan Cang - Cat Lai Port and Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal in vivid detail through advanced VR360 technology. These interactive experiences drew strong interest from both Lao visitors and international guests.

This year’s fair brought together hundreds of enterprises from both countries, featuring around 150 booths, including major Vietnamese brands in textiles, footwear, plastics, agriculture – forestry - fishery products, seafood, handicrafts, processed foods, electronics, mechanics, chemicals, and more.

The booth of the Military Industry-Telecom Group (Viettel), represented by Unitel, its brand in Laos, featured a modern exhibition design. Unitel showcased automation technologies from Unitel Logistics, including standout robotics solutions applied in the logistics sector.

Visiting most booths and appreciating the fair’s scale, Souliya Thibounma, aged 33, from Vientiane, said, “The fair is modern, large-scale. I’m really impressed with the technology-driven products and services from Vietnam. I believe they will soon gain a solid place in the Lao market.”

A standout highlight in this year’s fair was the Vietnam Cultural Space which showcased the culture, people, and landscapes of Vietnam, along with hands-on experiences such as making Dong Ho folk paintings, tasting mung-bean cakes, lotus-seed sweets, preserved sugared or salted fruits, and other regional specialties. The fair also displayed images reflecting the special traditional friendship between the governments, peoples, and militaries of Vietnam and Laos, helping visitors better understand the loyal and enduring bond between the two nations.

According to Major General Dao Minh Dao, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance under the the Ministry of National Defense, the fair was not merely a trade promotion event but also conveyed the message of the steadfast Vietnam - Laos friendship that has remained strong in both wartime and peacetime.

Perhaps that was the fair’s greatest appeal. It connected not only economies, but also emotions, memories, and shared national pride.
