In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Viettel expanded and improved client services on its digital platforms instead of the traditional ways. Its virtual assistant Chatbot, accessed through My Viettel, operates around the clock and serves some 25,000 customers per day on average. Thus, the client satisfaction rating increased to 90.02% in 2020 from 87.92% in 2019.
In the first 6 months of the year, Viettel also introduced a number of Cloud services like Cloud server, Cloud PC and Cloud camera as well as researched and developed AI applications in management, business, production and entertainment.
At the same time, the group continued to provide digital solutions to the Government, the education and training sector, healthcare, and completed the planning projects on smart city and e-government.
According to the International Data Group (IDG), many of the Top 150 telecoms (according to Brand Finance’s ratings) in the world suffered negative growth in the first 6 months due to COVID-19 so the positive growth of Viettel could be seen as a big success and demonstrates its vitality and innovation in difficult times.
