Viettel’s autonomous robotic system developed by Viettel Post wins a gold and leads in the Robotics and Automation category.

At this year’s event, Viettel outperformed global tech giants such as Amazon, IBM, Meta, Broadcom, Ivanti, and Cisco in total awards received. The Vietnamese military group earned the highest number of awards, with 19 in total (five gold, seven silver, and seven bronze), surpassing IBM and Amazon, which each received 11 awards. This marks the second consecutive year Viettel has topped this prestigious international competition. Vietnam had five enterprises represented among the winners.

Originally established in 2006 by the U.S.-based Network Product Guide, the Globee Awards (formerly known as the IT World Awards) honors excellence in global IT products, services, and solutions. The awards recognize innovations in fields, such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, IT infrastructure, and sustainable development.

Viettel’s five gold-winning entries this year featured advanced technologies that enhance user experience, including the Reputa data analytics platform, the BTS Digital Twin telecommunications infrastructure solution, autonomous sorting robots, an intelligent logistics ecosystem, and Viettel’s telecom infrastructure system in Burundi.

In addition to winning top honors, 17 out of 19 of Viettel’s award-winning products were ranked first in their respective categories, highlighting the company’s technological capabilities and global competitiveness in the field of information technology.

According to the organizers, the judging and ranking process involved more than 3,500 technology experts from around the world.
