Sr. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet hands over the First-class Fatherland Protection Orders to Major General Tao Duc Thang, Major General Nguyen Dinh Chien, and Colonel Vu Tuan Anh.

The awards reflect the Party and State’s trust, appreciation, and recognition of the contributions made by Viettel’s senior leaders in fulfilling critical national defense tasks. In recent years, several projects in aviation and space—researched and developed by Viettel—have been reviewed and approved, delivering breakthrough results and helping Vietnam join the ranks of countries capable of mastering high-tech equipment and defense technologies.

Additionally, three Second-class Fatherland Protection Orders and nine Third-class Fatherland Protection Orders were presented to leaders of Viettel’s High-Tech Industry Department, Deputy Directors of the Viettel Aerospace Institute, and Directors of affiliated centers under the Institute.

In December 2024, the Viettel Aerospace Institute was conferred the title Hero of the People's Armed Forces for its exceptional achievements in researching, developing, and successfully producing high-tech strategic weapons, thereby contributing to military modernization and enhancing the country’s defense capabilities.
