The 58-kilometer expressway runs through Long An, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai. It is part of the Eastern North-South Expressway corridor and serves as a key link between Southeastern and Southwestern Vietnam. The route also enhances access to Long Thanh International Airport, relieves pressure on major roads, and supports regional economic development.

The winning bid from the Viettel ePass – VVT consortium was 28% below the approved cost estimate (saving VND 42 billion), and 14% lower than the second-highest bidder (saving VND 17 billion), showcasing strong cost-efficiency and competitiveness.
Viettel ePass is currently the only Vietnamese company with end-to-end mastery of road tolling technology. Its system integrates advanced features, including AI-powered vehicle recognition cameras, speed sensors, automatic barriers, high-tech RFID readers, dynamic operation software, and a back-end system synchronized with the Ministry of Transport’s databases.

In addition to meeting Level 3 cybersecurity standards, the system supports smart payments via Viettel Money, Visa/MasterCard, and local banks, offering a convenient and modern user experience.
With nearly 3 million vehicles using its system and a network of more than 1,400 service points nationwide, Viettel ePass has deployed its solutions across various locations, including expressways, airports, smart parking lots, bus stations, shopping centers, hospitals, schools, and residential complexes.
