Viettel operates 4G services nationwide
PANO – The military-run telecommunications group Viettel has so far operated 18,000 4G stations, bringing this new technology to 704 districts of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
After four months, Viettel has installed the 4G network nationally, including 6,300 communes in remote and border areas.

Among districts provided with 4G services, there were 100 border districts in 25 provinces, namely Loc Binh and Cao Loc districts in Lang Son; Muong Nhe, Nam Po and Muong Cha in Dien Bien; Phong Tho, Sin Ho, Nam Nhun and Muong Te in Lai Chau; Meo Vac, Dong Van, Yen Minh and Quan Ba in Ha Giang; Muong Khuong and Bat Xat in Lao Cai, Ky Son and Anh Son in Nghe An; Tay Giang and Nam Giang in Quang Nam; Dak Mill and Cu Jut in Dak Nong; Chau Thanh and Trang Bang in Tay Ninh; Moc Hoa and Thanh Hoa in Long An; and Chau Doc, An Phu and Tinh Bien in An Giang.
Viettel’s 4G services also cover many special places in Vietnam, namely Dat Mui commune (Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province), Lung Cu commune (Dong Van district, Ha Giang), Hoa Tam commune (Tuy Hoa district, Kon Tum), and on Mount Fansipan in Sapa district (Lao Cai province).
From now to the end of March, Viettel is planning to finish the building of 7,300 4G stations, bringing the total number of Viettel's 4G stations to nearly 28,000 stations nationwide, with the aim of providing the best quality service to its customers.
