The Viettel ePass solution, aimed at enhancing management efficiency and promoting urban modernization, has already been successfully implemented at many parking lots across Hanoi and other provinces nationwide. The technology meets level-3 information security standards, enables flexible toll processing, provides real-time revenue and parking status reports, and allows 24/7 monitoring of service operations.

According to a company representative, the Viettel ePass solution not only builds upon the success of the non-stop toll collection model used on expressways and national highways but is also tailored to the specific needs of urban environments.

Viettel ePass’s representative Dang Tran Chien introduces non-stop toll collection at bus stops and parking lots.

Viettel ePass is a pioneer in deploying a nationwide non-stop ETC system, allowing drivers to pass toll booths without stopping and supporting cashless payments. This initiative is considered a hallmark of the transport sector's digital transformation during the 2020–2025 period. The solution is now applied in various facilities such as airports, bus stations, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, apartment complexes, and tourist destinations.

To use the system, users must have a smart transport account with ePass, linked to Viettel Money or Visa/MasterCard. No preloading is necessary, allowing users to manage their expenses proactively, transparently, and conveniently.

The ePass technology enables automatic vehicle identification and real-time fee calculation, issues electronic invoices instantly, minimizes the need for human resources, reduces losses, detects vehicles with counterfeit license plates, and collects traffic data to support traffic planning.
