Major General Hoang Son addresses the event.

The event witnessed the participation of Major General Hoang Son, Viettel’s Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director, representatives from functional agencies of the group and workers of the factory.

Addressing the event, General Son affirmed that Viettel has been assigned missions to be the core of the high-tech defense industry complex of the military. Therefore, in the development strategy towards 2025 with a vision to 2030, the group has decided that the research for manufacturing high-tech defense products is one of its four key targets. It will enhance investment and restructuring to form a high-tech defense industry complex with the two major sectors of electronics and precision mechanics.

At the groundbreaking ceremony

With a total area of over 10,000 sq.m., Factory X5 will be the place to manufacture high-tech precision mechanical modules with international standards for civilian and defense products. Products of the factory and Company M3 are expected to serve not only the domestic but also the global needs in the future.

The Viettel leader required relevant agencies to regularly monitor the construction and support the company’s leadership to complete the project as planned.

At the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Dang Dinh Thi, President and Director of M3 Communication Company, expressed his thanks for the care of the Viettel Group’s leader, and affirmed that the company will exert all-out efforts to complete its assigned missions.
