Viettel directly credited service fees to the accounts of over 2 million customers and established emergency communication channels for people and rescue teams in severely affected areas. The military business prioritized setting up new communication lines and provided hundreds of SIM cards for rescue teams in such communes and districts that experienced landslides as Phuc Khanh commune, Nam Luc commune (Lao Cai), and Ca Thanh commune (Cao Bang), to ensure communication.
