Network speed measurements show that Viettel not only ranks first in 5G performance, but also leads comprehensively in the overall mobile network segment (4G and 5G combined).

Specifically, in July 2025, Viettel’s 5G download speed reached 483 Mbps, with an upload speed of 106 Mbps, the highest among all operators. This outstanding 5G speed demonstrates that Viettel not only has broad 5G coverage, but also effectively optimizes network performance, providing fast and stable access for users in real-world conditions.

Data from nPERF’s coverage map shows Viettel currently has the largest 5G footprint in Vietnam, with over 7,000 base stations installed nationwide. The operator targets nearly 30,000 5G stations by the end of 2025. 

In overall mobile network speed (4G + 5G), Viettel also ranked first, with 98 Mbps download and 31 Mbps upload. These figures reflect Viettel’s overall mobile network quality, not only fast but also stable, providing clear advantages in everyday usage scenarios such as video streaming, video calls, online learning, and remote work.

According to experts, one of the most notable aspects and the biggest differentiator of Viettel 5G is stability. Maintaining high speed consistently across the entire network and at all times is the real challenge.
