From 2020 to 2025, MB maintained a growth rate higher than the industry average across all scale, quality, efficiency, and labor productivity indicators. Compared with 2020, total assets increased 2.3 times, credit outstanding rose 2.5 times, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.63%. Asset quality remained strictly controlled, with the non-performing loan ratio at 1.62%. Return on equity (ROE) reached 21.5% in 2025, up from 19.1% in 2020, placing MB among the top three banks in Vietnam for efficiency and quality of operations. Shareholder interests were well protected, with average dividends above 22% and average investment returns (dividends and bonus shares) at approximately 34%. By 2024, MB’s diversified financial group model, with eight member companies, had provided full of financial services. MB’s position and brand value reached USD 1.6 billion in 2025.

The MB Party Organization also implemented all aspects of Party building, firmly maintaining its comprehensive leadership role. Over the previous tenure, the MB Party Organization admitted 626 new Party members, exceeding the target by 125%. Political and ideological education, inspection and supervision, Party organization building at grassroots level, and personnel work were carried out seriously and methodically.
In his directive speech, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San praised the well-prepared documents of the congress, noting that delegates engaged in frank and responsible discussions, objectively assessing the leadership outcomes of the 2020–2025 resolution and proposing many goals, targets, and solutions for the next tenure.
He emphasized MB’s significant contributions to the overall achievements of the entire military, fulfilling its function as a “production labor force,” meeting all objectives with 15 targets exceeding the 2020–2025 plan.
To achieve the goals for the next tenure, he requested MB to continue innovating, enhancing business efficiency, and fulfilling military and defense tasks, while focusing on strictly implementing Party, State, and military guidelines on combining economic development with defense missions.
At the congress, the Executive Committee of the MB Party Organization for the 2025–2030 tenure was elected. Major General Luu Trung Thai, Chairman of the MB Board of Directors, was re-elected as Secretary of the MB Party Committee. Colonel Pham Nhu Anh, MB General Director, was re-elected as Deputy Secretary of the MB Party Committee.
