Two hours before the fireworks display, the Speed test application measured 4G speed at 100Mbps download and 30-50Mbps upload and during the display, Viettel’s 4G speed ran at 20-30Mbps download and 5-15Mbps upload, meeting visitors’ speed requirements for live-stream events with HD quality.
Loving sharing photos and videos on activities she engaged in, Vo Thi Thach, a retired teacher in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city, was very happy watching fireworks performances and sharing videos on her facebook page. She expressed her pleasure at using Viettel’s 4G service to upload videos during the festival.
In fact, the use of the 4G service during this year’s festival has increased by 2 to 2.5 times in comparison with the previous year.
To meet its subscribers’ demands for 4G service, Viettel used various 4G BTS with 2100MHz and 1800MHz bands and deployed a number of mobile transmitter vehicles, wifi routers and small data transmission devices in different locations.
Moreover, after each night, Viettel sent an independent team to test the quality of the 4G service by sending messages, making video calls, and watching videos and live-stream events.
