Under the agreement, both sides will focus on key agricultural industries, facilitating knowledge and technology transfer between delegations from the two countries. Opportunities will also be explored to recognize individuals and organizations with significant contributions to agricultural development in both Vietnam and Germany.

The MoU is expected to create favorable conditions for German agribusinesses, particularly those specializing in agricultural machinery, to access and expand their presence in the Vietnamese market. The partnership also aims to advance technological innovation, smart agricultural equipment, and sustainable farming practices.

Editor-in-Chief of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper Nguyen Ngoc Thach noted that the newspaper has closely followed DLG’s activities since the “AGRITECHNICA Asia Live 2022” event. Since then, it has served as DLG’s sole media partner in Vietnam.

Through the deal, the newspaper plans to expand its information network and strengthen connections with DLG’s 31,000 members, contributing to realizing Vietnam’s green development goals, Thach added.

Katharina Staske, Managing Director of DLG Asia-Pacific, emphasized that the collaboration would not only enhance media outreach but also facilitate the application of agricultural advances in Vietnam.

The MoU is seen as an opportunity for German businesses to transfer advanced technologies, supporting Vietnam’s efforts to transition toward a greener and more sustainable food system. With this strengthened cooperation, the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper is expected to further engage with German partners and promote new technology solutions to help Vietnamese farmers adopt environmentally friendly practices.
