After conceding two goals, Myanmar tightened up and looked to respond. Before the end of the first half, the guests equalized the score 2-2 with goals from Kyaw (at ninth minute) and Moe (at 16th minute).

When the match entered the second half, the hosts retained their advances when Gia Hung and Van Vu scored two more goals at the 16th and 32nd minutes respectively. Vu’s goal was on a penalty kick.

Afterwards, Myanmar went all out looking for a goal, and it worked, and within a minute Maung had clawed one back.

But that was the last thing the guests had to celebrate. Vietnam's defense stayed solid and the attackers were able to take advantage of Myanmar playing without a goalkeeper to score three more from long range.

Vietnam won the match 7-3 and the last ticket to the 2020 Asian Futsal Championship which will be held Turkmenistan.
