Highlights of this year’s festival are the street of scholars, installation art space and art performances.
During the festival, visitors can experience traditional Tet recaptured through designs by young architects using products of traditional craft villages such as conical hats, tiled roofs, ceramic products, sedge mats, and jars.

Many performances of different art genres, such as don ca tai tu Nam bo (Southern amateur singing), reformed theater, folk singing, hat boi (classical opera), fashion show, lion dance, are also included in this event.
As part of the festival, volunteer activities, namely “Bring spring and Tet to children,” and “Love connectivity” will bring a warm Tet festival to disadvantaged children.
New features of this year’s festival are lucky book and lucky green tree presentation and waste classification.

Nguyen Hong Phuc, Director of the cultural house, said that the Vietnamese Tet Festival, launched 17 years ago, has become a typical cultural rendezvous for local people and visitors on the occasion of the lunar New Year.
According to the official, the festival is a chance to popularize the images, people, and beauty of the modern city named after President Ho Chi Minh, which has well preserved and promoted typical traditional values.
The festival will last till February 14 (the fifth day of the first lunar month of 2024).
