PANO – The Vietnam U23 team beat Myanmar 2-0 in a friendly match at the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11th.

In spite of the absence of some key players, the Vietnamese team played well, as expected by local fans. The two goals were scored by midfielder Danh Ngoc and striker Minh Tuan at the 33rd and 53rd minutes.

The game is a good chance for Head Coach Hoang Van Phuc’s men to hone their skills for the 27th SEA Games by the year-end in Myanmar.
