More than 600 local people and artists will join a street folk festival and perform rituals of Mother Goddess worship with the aim of popularizing typical cultural identities of the province and the district to tourists.

Another highlight of the program is an artistic exchange featuring UNESCO-recognized folk singing genres such as hat xoan (xoan singing) and ca tru (ceremonial singing) as well as other heritage elements like chau van (van singing) and hat xam (xam singing).

In addition, the organizing panel will open an exhibition space to introduce the province’s special agricultural products and handicrafts.

Reportedly, Phu Tho province has around 260 festivals a year. Among them, many festivals have become spiritual cultural symbols such as the Hung Kings Temple festival, Au Co Temple festival, Hien Quan Phet Ball festival, and Dao Xa elephant procession ceremony.
