PANO – U23 Vietnam on February 24th gathered at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre in Hanoi to prepare for the coming qualifying round of the 2016 Asian U23 Football Championships.
They will hone their skills in friendly matches against two V-League clubs of Hanoi T&T and Quang Ninh Coal on March 3rd and 10th, and Indonesia and Uzbekistan on March 9th and 14th, at Hang Day Stadium.
On March 23rd, Coach Toshiya Miura and his players will fly to Malaysia for the qualifying round. There, they will face the U23 teams of Japan, Malaysia and Macau at the Group I.
The tournament will see the competition of 43 teams, divided into ten groups. The round is scheduled to take place in 10 different Asian countries from March 23rd and 31st.
