Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico, Pham Van Que, and Mexico City Mayor, Marcelo Ebrard, cut the red ribbon to inaugurate the Vietnam Park and Ho Chi Minh Statue in Mexico City on January 17.

Addressing the ceremony, the ambassador confirmed the construction of the park and erection of Ho Chi Minh Statue will help tighten the solidarity and friendship between the two countries and the two capital cities and widen the opportunity for more cooperative relationships.

Meanwhile, the Mexico City Mayor said that the success of the Vietnamese people’s struggle against their enemies in the 20th century, led by President Ho Chi Minh, changed not only the country but also the lives of humankind everywhere.
