PANO – The program “National Day celebration” will be held in the Culture - Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups in Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi, from September 1 to 30.

The program will be joined by nearly 100 ethnic people from the nine ethnic groups of Hmong, Thai, Kho Mu, and Dao of Son La province and the artisans of the Muong, Tay, Ba Na, Ede, and Khmer ethnic groups working at the village. They will bring visitors special cultural features of each ethnic group of Vietnam.

The highlight of the program is activities to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the National Day (September 2), including the traditional market of the minority ethnic groups in the Northern mountainous province of Son La. The market offers a festive space in a kermis, featuring culinary, trading and folk games performances.

Visitors will also have chance to enjoy traditional artistic and cultural performances and culinary space of ethnic groups, especially on weekends, during the program. The program aims to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the National Day, through which solidarity among 54 ethnic groups will be further strengthened.
