PANO – Vietnam’s U23 team will take on two clubs, Guingamp (France) and Kashima Antlers (Japan), marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment the Vietnam-France and Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, according to the Vietnam Football Federation VFF.
These friendly matches with the French and Japanese rivals, on May 30th and June 4th, respectively, are good chances for Vietnamese players to improve their professionalism in preparation for the 27th SEA Games.
At present, Guingamp is a strong team, ranking 3rd place in League 2, the second level of French football, while the Kashima Antlers club has proved Japan's most successful club team by far, winning the J. League title a record seven times.
