Dozens of students gathered in the yard of the Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogy University to take part in numerous folk games.

Along with playing traditional games, these students also tasted green tea, salted dry apricot and asked some elderly scholars about ancient scripts and their meanings.

The above activities were part of the Fourteenth Festival of Students and the Root under the theme “1,000 years of Thang Long-Dong Do-Hanoi”, organised by the History Faculty of Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogy University, help students understand more about the typical traditional culture, and encourage their love and responsibility to preserve Vietnam cultural identities.
