Vietnamese youth, aged from 16 to 25, will have a chance to take a deeper look on the Australian culture and the solidarity and friendship between the two countries by attending a slogan contest marking the 40th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.

The contest, which was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on May 22 by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Association and the Vietnam-Australia Friendship Association in HCM City, will also offer an interesting English playground for Vietnamese students.

Those who live in HCM City and southern provinces are eligible for the contest. Each contestant will produce a slogan in English with a maximum of 10 words and an interpretation of no more than 200 words featuring the friendship between Vietnam and Australia.

Entries will be sent to http://www.hoivietuc.edu.vn or www.facebook.com/HoiVietUc until June 25.

List of winners will be announced at the final scheduled for July 20 in Ho Chi Minh City.
