President attends concert marking Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties
President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse attended a concert at Hanoi Opera House on September 7, as part of celebrations of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.
The concert was performed by Japan’s leading symphony orchestra NHK, which performs 120 concerts around the world and frequently appears on radio channels in many countries across Europe, America and Asia.
The presence of the Vietnamese State leader and his spouse at the concert reflected Vietnam’s respect for Vietnam-Japan ties, and reciprocated the Japanese Emperor and Empress’s attendance at the ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties held on the occasion of the Vietnamese President’s State visit to Japan from May 29 - June 2, as well as their presence at the concert performed by the Vietnamese national symphony orchestra in Japan in July.
Cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries have raised mutual understanding between the two peoples and affirmed their leaders’ determination to further tighten Vietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership.
Earlier on September 5 evening, the NHK symphony orchestra staged a performance in Ho Chi Minh City.
