Photo exhibitions mark Vietnamese National Day and 50th ASEAN anniversary
PANO – The museum of Can Tho city, in association with the museum of the Military Region 9’s armed forces and the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), on August 8, kicked off a series of photo exhibitions to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), and 50 founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (August 8, 1967-2017).
One of them is photo exhibition themed “Sen Village – the homeland of Uncle Ho” showcasing 120 photos on the place where President Ho Chi Minh was born and grew up, as well as the on the leader’s visits to his homeland when alive.

Also on August 8, a photo exhibition celebrating the 50th founding anniversary of ASEAN launched featuring 120 photos introducing the establishment and development of the association, along with the socio-economic achievements and national cultural identity of Vietnam in the ASEAN community.
The exhibitions will run until September 30th.
