PANO – A new program to seek musical talents, Lotte VK-Pop Super Star, will be aired at 8pm on Sundays on Vietnam Television Channel 3 from March 15th, announced the organizers at a press conference on February 24th in Hanoi.
The program, jointly produced by Vietnam Television and Lotte’s partners from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam, aims to provide a chance for 15 outstanding contestants from qualifying rounds to receive training in the RoK.
Accordingly, the 7 best contestants with good performance during the training will compete in a live show round to select 3 finalists for the VK-Pop Super Star Gala for the first season’s winner, who will get a VND 7.5 billion prize.
The program will see the presence of top K-Pop stars Beast, T-Ara, 4 Minutes, Baek Ji Young, G-Na and Phantom.
At the press conference, a representative of the jury Beak Ji Young stressed that through the program, the jury would seek a future Asian music star.
