Incense offering held at Thang Long Imperial Citadel
PANO – The municipal People’s Committee of Hanoi, the Center for Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Preservation, and the Association of Thang Long Cultural Heritage held an incense offering program on February 13 at the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Complex.
The program started with a dragon dance performed by artisans of Trieu Khuc village of Thanh Tri district. The performance highlighted the sportsmanship and the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” of the Vietnamese people.

The drum performance of the artisans of Ha Yen Quyet village of Cau Giay district showed the spirit of Thang Long – Hanoi through its thousand-of-year history.
The incense offering ritual was then performed in sacred steps, showing respect and gratefulness to the ancestors.
After the ritual, visitors were entertained with a folk art performance program.
