French athlete wins the first prize at the Da Nang International Paramotor Race
Mathieu Rouanet, a French athlete, won the first prize at the closing ceremony of the Da Nang International Paramotor Race in Da Nang on May 27th.

Mathieu Rouanet, a French athlete, won the first prize at the closing ceremony of the Da Nang International Paramotor Race in Da Nang on May 27th.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh, Deputy-Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, said that although this is the first time Da Nang hosted the event, the race ended successfully under the auspices of organisers, sponsors, athletes as well as spectators.
“We had an opportunity to enjoy impressive performances of top athletes from countries around the world. These performances brought about interesting experiences and unforgettable moments to spectators, Vietnamese and international visitors” Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh added.
Mathieu Rouanet, the winner of the race, said, “This will be an unforgettable memory in my life. After the competition, I will introduce the beautiful landscapes in Da Nang City and the hospitality of its people to my friends. Surely, if I have a chance, I will continue participating in coming competitions in the beautiful city of Da Nang.”
At the closing ceremony, the organising panel presented second prize to Emilia Plak from Poland and third prize to Ryoya Igarashi from Japan. The panel also offered two consolation prizes to athletes from Japan.
