PANO – 130 disadvantaged children are taking part in a football tournament, which was kicked off at the Military Zone 7 Sporting House in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City, on May 26th.

Eight football teams from the host, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Ca Mau, Gia Lai and Instruction School No.4 of the Ministry of Public Security, compete for the cup.

The event aims to help such children from across the country meet together and hone their physical strength on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1st).

After the five-day tournament, the organizing panel will offer a free trip to Thailand to the 10 best players in the coming time.

Besides, they will work with relevant agencies to provide city tours for nearly 2,000 other disadvantaged children from across the nation.
