SATRA reviews “SATRA – For Vietnam’s Sea and Islands” program
PANO - On February 3, the Saigon Trading Group – One Member Limited Liability Company (SATRA), in coordination with the Naval Region 2 Command, held a review conference for the “SATRA – For Vietnam’s Sea and Islands” program for the 2024–2025 period.
In 2024–2025, the "SATRA – For Vietnam’s Sea and Islands" program expanded effectively, introducing new activities to enhance maritime sovereignty awareness among SATRA staff, partners, and customers. By mobilizing significant resources, the program actively supported fishermen, naval officers, and law enforcement forces. Notably, SATRA’s close cooperation with the Naval Region 2 Command bolstered social welfare initiatives and assistance for military families.

Notable activities of the program included the initiative “Working Hours for Beloved Truong Sa,” contributions to the fund of the program, support for building charity houses, presentation of national flags, and gifts to officers and soldiers of units under the Naval Region 2 Command, fishermen and their children in difficult circumstances, as well as scholarships to students in border and island areas.
At the event, SATRA representatives presented VND 350 million as a contribution to the “SATRA – For Vietnam’s Sea and Islands” program. In addition, the program allocated VND 250 million to support officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 2 Command on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026.

On this occasion, the program’s organizing panel officially launched the implementation of the 2026 program, receiving contributions from units and enterprises, with a total pledged amount of nearly VND 1.4 billion.
