Green tourist village in the middle of Lai Chau mountains and forests
PANO - Sin Suoi Ho village of the H’mong people is located in the middle of endless mountains and forests, with roads and signs of green tourism and a regulation in which kids are not allowed to ask for money.

Located in Sin Suoi Ho commune, Phong Tho district, some 30 kilometers from Lai Chau city, and at an altitude of nearly 1,500 meters above sea level, Sin Suoi Ho village is right at the foot of Son Bac May Mountain. In 2015, it was recognized as a community tourism village and has now become a tourist attraction thanks to its airy, fresh space and new way of doing tourism. In the past two years, the village welcomed nearly 30,000 tourists on average, including foreigners from 15 countries. |

The village is home to mainly the H’mong ethnic minority people. Paths are clean and full of trees and flowers make visitors feel like being lost in a garden. |

According to village head Vang A Chinh, he upgraded his house and then called for others to follow. As a result, the village has now developed into a cultural village. In the village, there are many signposts and garbage collection places with “cute” messages like this, keeping the village clean and tidy. |

Taking advantage of fresh, cool climate and unique cultural identity, the village is strongly developing community-based tourism. It has over 20 homestays. |

This market opens every Saturday morning. Along both sides of the road to the village and the market are thousands of orchids, a source of income for the villagers. |

The village is surrounded by majestic mountains and terraced fields. From here, visitors can climb on Bach Moc Luong Tu or Ta Lien peaks with quite relaxing routes.
