The cultural-tourism week also aims to preserve and promote the values of historical relics associated with the tourism development for districts and towns in western Yen Bai, creating a connection among the 8 provinces of the expanded northwestern region in tourism development.

As part of the event, the festival themed “Golden season of highlands” will be held in Mu Cang Chai district, including exciting activities such as the opening ceremony of the cultural week, highland markets, trade-tourism fair, eco- and community tours, film screening, and “Mu Cang Chai - the golden steps” art gallery.
