Party General Secretary To Lam offers incense at the graves of martyrs at the Vi Xuyen national war cemetery in Ha Giang province on February 5.

Built in 1990, the cemetery has recently been upgraded and expanded to over 10 ha, serving as the final resting place for martyrs who sacrificed their lives to defend the country’s Northern border.

Later in the evening, the delegation visited the Nam Dam community tourism and culture village in Quan Ba district where they presented gifts to 10 policy beneficiary families.

On the occasion, the Party chief also donated a project to build the examination and treatment department at the district General Hospital to local ethnic groups.

As scheduled, the construction will span 120 days, with an expected groundbreaking on March 15.

The day concluded with a cultural event hosted by local ethnic groups where the delegation joined in the festivities and handed over 30 additional gifts to policy beneficiary families.
